At Spears Music, we believe finding the right guitar shouldn't mean trying dozens of instruments and leaving more confused than when you came in. That’s why we take a more focused approach.

When you book an appointment, our experts will take the time to understand your style, needs, and budget — then guide you to just a select few guitars that truly suit you. No pressure, no time wasted — just clear, honest advice to help you choose the one that feels right.

Book your appointment to purchase today, and let’s find the guitar you’ll love to play — not just try.

Huge First Floor Guitar & Drum Showroom

This store, not far away from Manchester, has been a musical instrument store for many years. Previously known as Harker & Howarth, this building now houses Spears Music on the 1st floor, and our premier piano specialist store Rimmers Music on the ground floor.

Featuring a huge collection of premium acoustic guitars as well as new and second hand electric guitars, basses, amps and effects, our first floor showroom is your destination for everything guitar-related.

If it's drums you're after, we have a whole host of beautiful Roland digital kits to choose from - from the handily compact TD range through to the VAD Acoustic Design kits.

We offer an instore re-string, clean service on acoustic & electric guitar (subject to style). We buy second hand instruments and gear, take part exchanges, and can even sell your gear on commission. Please contact us if you would like more details, or if you would like to sell or part exchange your gear with us.
